Welcome Parents
If you are the parent of a student in Grades 6 to 12, I want to take a minute to thank you for allowing Immaculate Conception Youth Ministry to play a small role in the life of your child/children through these critical teen years.
Our team of leaders are committed to providing creative and relevant experiences where students can belong, can become devoted Christ followers, and be used to impact the lives of others. Whether you are just checking out this "church thing" or you are a registered parishioner, you are welcome. Take a few minutes and check out the connection opportunities we have for Middle School and High School students.
Again, thanks for allowing Immaculate Conception to minister to your child. We can't wait to see what God has in store for them!

How You Can Help
Remember that youth ministry begins at home!
Immaculate Conception Youth Ministry can only supplement the Catholic Christian nurture you provide as a parent. Your Godly attention to and nurture of your son or daughter far outweighs what we can provide in a few hours each week.
Model the importance of Jesus in your life. Adults need God as much as teens, and it's difficult to expect your teen to be more involved in Christian living and parish life than you.
Pray for our ministry.
Please pray daily for our students' spiritual growth. Pray for wisdom for parents as they guide their teens to maturity. Pray also for time and energy for leaders as they prepare for and lead sessions, meetings and special events.
Think and pray about getting involved.
Opportunities for involvement range from a few hours occasionally to team teaching a session or leading a small group. We provide training and support for the job God calls you to do.
The most important need we have as a ministry is your support and encouragement. Thank you!
GENERATIONS OF FAITH
This is a new and innovative intergenerational approach to Catholic faith formation for parish and home that utilizes the entire course of the church's life as the faith formation curriculum for all ages and all generations.
Generations of Faith provides learning activities for all ages. This process prepares the whole parish for meaningful participation in the life of the parish, and helps people to reflect and grow through their experience. Each session will include:
+ prayer
+ a meal
+ intergenerational learning
+ life-cycle learning activities for young children, older children, younger adolescents, older adolescents, young adults, and adults
+ small group faith sharing
+ family activities for the home
+ activities and strategies to help parishioners reflect on and apply their learning experiences
