Knit-along cancelled, more to come?

Knit-Along is cancelled tonight due to the impending storm. Stay home and cozy but keep on knitting! We'll meet again soon.

So far, THE W (youth group) has not been cancelled, officially... but the way the forecast looks, I wouldn't get yer hopes up! Have a safe, warm day and remember, lift with your legs, not your back!

They put the HEART in Catholic Heart

23 young people and adult leaders left our church in two big vans yesterday, bound for Catholic Heart Work Camp in Groton. We sent them off with a blessing from Fr. Bakker and the parishioners at the 11:00 Mass. They'll spend this week serving people in the Lowell and Lawrence area, doing such things as construction, painting, repair, food service, and direct ministry to young people, elderly, and the disabled. Please keep this special group of ministers in your prayers this week!

CATHOLIC HEART WORKCAMP 2009

We travel to Catholic Heart Workcamp in Groton, MA on Sunday, July 5th and return Friday, July 10th. Twenty one teens and four adults will share their faith through service to our neighbors in Lawrence and Lowell.
